The Royal Colleges of Surgeons certificates are recognized in most countries. The certificate gives the degree of "Specialist in oral surgery" immediately after obtaining it.
** Duration: 3 years of theoretical & practical training residency, divided into six semesters, each lasting four months.
Practical Cases: Every trainee treats 40 cases (cases descriptions in the attached file) and attends & assists in 10 maxillofacial surgeries inside the operating room. The Academy provides training cases.
- Note 1: We provide the candidates with patients.
-Note 2: All materials, tools, and training cases are provided by us .
** Attendance:
- Theoretical lectures extend during the first five semesters and are held on weekends.
- Theoretical lectures are broadcast live via Zoom application and are also available to record via an advanced educational system via the website, which is done for the first time in Iraq and most countries.
- Attendance for practical work is arranged with the clinic manager.
- The sixth and final semester will be dedicated to preparing for the Royal College of Surgeons exam. It is a qualifying program dedicated to training on the Royal College of Surgeons examination system and a simulation of all the examination steps.
** Speakers: The program is supervised & conducted by a group of university professors and consultants in maxillofacial surgery, radiology, and periodontology, who hold certificates from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (the names of the lecturers and their qualifications are detailed in the attached file).
** The program qualifies you to sit and pass the exam to become an oral surgery specialist and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
** Periodic exams to measure the studentโs academic and achievement level Through a high security and protection system that guarantees access to lectures for the current year and previous and subsequent years.
** The exam price is not included and is paid by the student directly on the official website of the Royal College of Surgeons without an intermediary. Please note that the exam price and location are constantly changing.
** Admission conditions:
1. The candidate must be a graduate and not a student.
2. They must have a license to practice the profession and be present in the records of the Dental Association in their country or the country where they work.
